my disc disc 2 is defective. it's not the end of the world. If you have the set, see if Bertha D2t8 skips starting at 4:15. If it does, you got a bad one.

A few years ago, a batch of DP13 or maybe 18 got out with flawed discs, and the GD replaced the disc in question for free. Hope they do it this time. I agree about the awesomeness of this set and the sound quality. Great stuff.

It was picks #15. My Englishtown 9-3-77 set came with an extra disk 3 in a paper envelope. There was a note about Not Fade Away skipping...

Checked mine all the way thru...no problem. Whewww. Thanks for the heads up though.

What an impressive sound; what they did to the sound from a two track source is unreal. Far surpasses all the 70s era DPs, IMHO. Phil is amazing, Keith does wonders, and Jerry's evolution is astounding. Sure, I may still prefer my high octane early era jams, but enjoying this purchase for sure. Only downside--vocals are low in the mix at times; guess they couldn't work miracles on all fronts. Donna reminds of Donna, but do love the harmonies on numbers like Row Jimmy...
